Roberto Musso

He grew up with his younger brother, Ricardo Musso, listening to albums by The Beatles, a band they were fans of and that inspired them to be musicians. He studied at the Elbio Fernández School and High School.

After the years and after learning about instruments the brothers decided to form a band in 1984, inviting their friend Santiago Tavella to play bass. After some shows with guest drummers, they met Álvaro Pintos who from that moment would be the first fixed drummer of El Cuarteto de Nos.

From there, the band recorded thirteen albums and received several awards. One of them, Another Christmas in the trenches, is the best-selling album in the history of Uruguay and with its last three albums (Raro, Bipolar and Porfiado) achieved recognition throughout Latin America.

In 2017 they released their latest album Apocalypse Zombie that was accompanied by the premiere of the video for their second single.

Roberto has also collaborated on albums by other artists, including No Te Va Gustar and Fernando Santullo.
