The adjectives describe or modify the noun/s and pronoun/s in a sentence.

It normally indicates quality, size, shape, duration, feelings, contents, and more about a noun or pronoun. 

They answer the questions:

What kind? How many? Which one? How much?

What can we describe about him?

He has blond hair

He's wearing a red t-shirt

He's made of plastic

He has short arms. 

He has two hands. 

Descriptive adjective is a word which describes nouns and pronoun: 

I have a fast computer (the word fast is describing an attribute of the computer) 💻

Quantitative adjective:

A quantitative adjective provides information about the quantity of the nouns/pronouns 

• I have eight cats! 🐈‍⬛
• No way! I have ten!
